Juliana Socher is a freelance documentary photographer based in Dresden, Germany. Her work is focused on the subjects of gender equality, mountaineering, science and environmentalism. She has a Master's Degree in Linguistics and works as an international stem cell courier in her spare time.

Her first publication, Altweiberwohnen, features photographic stories and interviews about single or widowed women over 80. It was published by Residenz Verlag in 2016 and featured i.a. on RBB, WDR and the Frankfurter Book Fair.
